Overseas pre-enlistees

All male Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents are liable for National Service at 18, with registration required at 16.5 years old. Overseas pre-enlistees must also undergo medical screening, apply for deferment if studying, and comply with Exit Permit requirements.
