Our medical screening process is extensive and thorough to ensure that your son’s medical conditions are taken into account when assigning him a medical fitness status. The medical fitness status is assigned in accordance with the Singapore Armed Forces Medical Classification Guidelines. Your son’s medical fitness and exemptions will affect the type of training and vocation he will subsequently be assigned to during full-time National Service.
